Network Key and password are the same. Enter the password and see if you can connect to the network. Let me know if you need further assistance on this.

Hi.
As of a couple of days ago my laptop cannot connect to my Internet anymore. My iPhone and kindle fire are fine. I went to best buy today and after they fixed something it connected there. I got home and tried it here and it cant connect. Its asking for a network key instead of a password like my other devices did. I called belling last night but were unable to fix it! Any advice?

I have the same problem. It can connect to my laptop, but it won’t let me connnect my Iphone or PS3. I even added my Iphone’s MAC Address to the router.

Connect your iPod touch to any other free hot spot (wifi) network other than Belkin, and see if you can use Pinger application on iPod and make calls. If your able to hear sound connecting to different wifi network get back to me, I can give you some tips. If not send out email to support@pinger.com.

I have a Belkin F5D7234-4 router.
I have had no problems with it until I attempted to use “Pinger” on my iPod Touch (4g).
I am not hearing callers. My answering voice is clear and I would love to use the program but if I cannot hear the callers I can’t use it.
Can you help. Pinger says it is probably my router. I am leary of configuring it myself.

Okay, so i called my isp call center and followed your instructions thoroughly. Finally, i was able to setup wifi for my primary laptop (for which i couldnt thank you enough!)

However, when i try to connect using other laptops/i phone, device gets connected to router, but not the internet. I have confirmed that my connection is PPPoe type. The thing is, even post configuration i need to connect to internet from my primary laptop through the isp client by filling in id password etc.

So, now the problem is due to my router settings or is the isp responsible?

Hi Pawan, Don't worry about it, Try Belkin Router Reset and then call up your Internet service provider and ask them for basic setup details. I am not sure what kind of connection your using.

Hi,

I recently bought a Belkin N300 Router, and lost the CD. I’ve tried configuring it with the help of this article 4 times now.

The steps seem simple and easy, but when i click connect at the end, a message saying: “The server closed the connection without sending any data.” appears.

Now, i don’t know what the problem is. My net is completely stable, all wires are intact, the modem is brand new.

Also, i noticed that even after saving changes and all that, the WAN IP, DNS, Sub-net and all that under Internets settings on the Belkin site all show 0.0.0.0 even after saving changes.

Please help. I am in distress.
